dougie511 Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Whats up everyone! i travel a lot for work and I am currently staying in Chesterfield, SC. I am kind of looking for a guide service on a lake pretty close to here (lake wylie or something like that i honestly dont know many other lakes besides hartwell and ive been on google looking for something and cant find very much) or maybe even just someone who would take me out on the lake for a day on the weekend or something along those lines!! Any help would be much appreciated on some good bass lakes and also some good priced guide services! Thank you very much!! Quote
Zurg Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 If you want an experience unique to this area, I would suggest taking a smallmouth trip on the Broad River. Many people don't realize that South Carolina has some world class smallmouth. An average trip would be about 30 fish with at least a 3-5lb smallmouth. I use a guide who knows the river better than anyone in SC and he is very reasonable. I am not sure if it is appropriate to put links on here for guide services. You can send me a message if interested and I would be happy to give you his contact details. 1 Quote

Smallmouth In the south sheesh what what will they come up with next .....lol. All kidding asidethebroad is a great river to fish. Find some good deep pockets below therapies and rocks and it is on! Best day I had out there was 25 in a day. 12 came from one spot in an hr. Literally every cast came in with a fish. Quote
