Was Northstar a "Top Secret" jig 2 months ago?

Where have you been, I miss you sarcasm.

"Secret Lures" is just a spoof to get attention. None of these are

secret and I have posted reports of success on every one of them

over the years or since introduction. The real service I hope a thread

like this provides is a guide to building a small collection of tackle

that gets it done!

Good luck!

Everyone sit down, I am about to blow the lid off this place...........my secret bait:

A 5" green pumpkin stick worm

Your welcome.

I completely disagree and can't believe you would even mention that bait.  This was supposed to be the "Secret Bait" thread with whatever the top producer in your box is.

The real secret bait is:   A 4" green pumpkin stick worm.

My humminbird. With Wayne's help on setup, it has my back to the bank and I'm catching more quality fish than ever. Fishing a fluke over submerged grass that no one else fishes has got my per fish average up to around 3 lbs.

3/8oz buzzbait

5" senko

Rebel pop-r

Norman DD22

1/2oz jig

All on an alabama rig so I can cover all possibilities in a single cast.

Ok seriously....

The one thing I know I can always get bit on when the chips are down.  Cold water, warm water, moving water, doesn't matter.  J7 Black and Silver jointed Rapala.

Just flat catches fish anywhere.

Jigs- hop them, drag em, dead stick em, skip docks, swim them, stroke them, fish em deep, punch them.

The only thing that really changes is the trailer or type of trailer and the weight and the head shape.

Berkley Havoc 5" bottom hopper in black. It has caught me more fish on a dropshot than any roboworm or hand-poured plastic I have tried.

Alot of what RW said. My secret is the GYCB 4" Fat Ika, rigged backwards.

Believe AJ already said the same thing but I don't have any secret baits just secret spots. I've got a secret cove or two on every lake around me. My go to baits are all really common, the only one that really flies under the radar is the Rick Clunn Freak Jr. which is a really awesome little crank.

Mine is pretty basic but I have never been skunked fishing a 6" dead ringer in watermelon chartreuse on a Owner sled head. It works year round at any depth on every on every lake I fish.

Black and blue home made bladed jig. When I'm in stained water and need a big bite, that's what I reach for.

My top secret lure is a Heddon Big Bud.  Doesn't mean I use it though.

Top secret lure?

That's all the lures in my tackle boxes that catches fish.

Secret? No way Wal-Mart has them, dicks sporting goods has them, so does BPS and Cabelas too.

Just pick one and practice your presentations with it. The bass will let you know when you get it right.

This is a lure

It's special to me

It catches bass

When nothing else works

This lure is mine

There are other lures

That are like it

But they don't work

Like my lure does

This lure is mine
