I've always wanted to try one out so I snagged one up off fleabay just because. What does everyone think of this bait? Favorite way to fish them?

its so small i basically consider it a crankbait. fish it like a crankbait

I usually let mine sink a bit and then swim it and then pause with some short twitches. I've also done well retrieving it quickly towards the surface like a wakebait.

Did you buy the $9.99 ones on there? I bought one, then when I got it I went back to buy more and they were gone. Not a bait worth $15+ IMO, but for $10 it seems worth it.

They are small, and they work best on light line.. but they swim great and look great! Hook is very sharp as well. Should be a solid fish catcher on slow days.

I spent like $12 on it with plans to fish it on my ml/f spinning rod. They seem pretty versatile.

Never fished a jointed bait like this aside from rapalas but the hardware seems solid and it does look great even though it's the silver fish flavor.

The bait was made for fishing a ML rod and 6# line, according to the big man himself. There are videos online where he shows how to use it.

I tested it with a M baitcast rod and 30# braid and it swam fine, but I have heard if you use too thick of a line it will hinder the action. I don't have the confidence in myself to throw $15 lures on 6# line.

Perfect. I have 20/6 braid with 6# leader on that rod. I'll look into his videos.

$10 is about the most I'll tie on the end of my line. I've lost so many baits to snags, trees and line breakage it's ridiculous. Since then I've been mainly a soft plastics guy, lol.
