I just noticed that our Walmart has started carrying Owner and Mustad hooks.A nice selection of each too. I've never seen them here and was quiet shocked. I got a pack of the Owner twist locks to try.

The Walmart around here is like a retail version of the Hills Have Eyes...

That's every Wal Mart..

The Wal-Mart here had a great assortment of hooks from Owner. They quit carrying them a couple years ago but they are stocked again now. Well, they were before I got hold of them.

All mY local walmarts only carry gamakatsus, but I have been getting some good prices on random soft baits. I can't help but go and check out the clearance baits whey time I go. I even got some elaztech style Strike King baits for a dollar a package, bought those out then an there.

I always lurk the walmart fishing section. They once had rage products marked for 1.58$ a pack I have no idea if that was by accident or what!?

Accident or not,id ****** em up,But first id do a price check on the scanner they have located throughout the store. If it scans at that price there, then thats the price its gonna be at the register.

Every Walmart I have gone to has a different inventory of stuff. Most are on the same page with products, but some just have different items.

A Walmart in Tucson has a nice section of Flyfishing gear.Where I have never seen any other flyfishing equipment at any other Walmart.

Its interesting to go to different Walmarts to see what they have. Some are "way behind". My local Walmart stopped carrying a certain bait like 5 years ago, while a Walmart in El Paso still carries it.

I hit every Walmart possible when I travel to the big cities because of the different inventory they might carry at each one

Hopefully the new local Super Walmart will stock a better fishing section than the last store we had. That one was pretty much worthless for fishing supplies.

Walmart seems to have just signed a deal with Strike King. They have SK everything all of the sudden.  About 3x what they used to carry.

Please God let them carry Rage Tails.

Ours had the frogs and shad on clearance for $1 a bag. I'm set on that part now.

I always wander thru the fishing dept at the local WallyWorld, not expecting to see much.  Yesterday I saw a new section loaded with the KVD Mustad Short-shank trebles.  Had to grab one pack just to give them a try ;) .  As usual though, the rest of the dept stunk up the place... >:(

yeah, our local walmart  have been carrying Gamagatsu and owner hooks and they even have them on sale every first quarter of the year.

They also have the new KDV's square bill crank bait. Unfortunately they don't sell  any KDV's shoes..  ;)

I just bought the new SK KVD 1.5 and xd5 cranks from wally world.  I never find anything there, so this was a nice surprise.  I'll check for the Owner hooks next time...I love the twist lock and their version of the trokar with the sharpened points.
