I'm looking to buy a rod for my jigs. I bought my first baitcasting rod last year off craigs list a 7' medium action falcon bucoo. It was only 70$ which was a steal since it was never used before I bought it. Now I'm looking to add a jig rod this but dont wanna spend over 200$. I'd love to hear what you guys think would be a great jig rod in my price range.

If you like full cork an Avid would be tough to beat at that price point (AVC70MHF). If you like split grips and can wait for Memorial Day 15-20% off sales, the LTB would be in your budget and worth the wait (71MHF).

I hate to sound stupid haha. But what does LTB stand for.

Legend Tournament Bass. They are made by St. Croix. They are decent rods.

If you liked your Falcon Rod, check out their others on ***.com.  I have their 7'3"H micro, think it was $159.  I would say check around, everyone on here is going to give you lots of ideas, but you're the one that knows what you're looking for.  Better question to ask, as far as jigs, are you going to be using it to flip/pitch into heavy cover or fish football jigs offshore?  How heavy are the jigs you are going to be fishing with?  I would ask those questions so you can get the right action rod for the job you're looking to do.

I dont really like fishing deep water. No deeper than 10-15' I like throwing finess jigs under docks and jigs into brush piles and lay downs. Its not terrible with the rod I have now but if I dont slam the Hook set the fish come off or don't get hooked.

well the rod you have now is a medium moderate  action.  More useful for cranks and spinnerbaits.  I would find something in the heavy range, 7ft or 7'3".  *** Black ***'s aren't bad.  Just picked up the 7'6"MH and it's a beast of a rod for right about $120.00  Used the Falcon Bucco 7'3"H all last year flipping and punching grass mats and handled it fine.  Find something you like in the MH-H action, if you want a fast tip where the rod shuts down about 18" from the tip go with the Xtra-Fast action otherwise Fast will work fine.  Hope this helps you out.

I have 3 of the rods you have now I have in both casting as well as spinning.  Great crankbait/spinnerbait rod on the casting side and spinning I use it for dropshot and wacky worming.  Glad I could help you out.

You probably aren't going to find many people on here willing to recommend a Quantum rod.  I have a MH Superlite spinning rod and two 6'10" HF casting rods...a Superlite and Tour Edition.  The Superlite is a $230 rod that can be purchased off ohya for $125.  These are some pretty nice rods.  Rating on the Heavy is listed as 1/4-3/4 oz.  I found that hard to believe.  A friend informed me that the screen printing on the rod is a misprint.  Actual rating is 3/8 to 1-1/2 oz.  Websites list what is printed on the rod.  The 7' MH is rated for 1/4 to 1-1/2 oz.

These rods are well built, light (tho not the lightest) and sensitivity is quite good.  They are worth the $200 price, and a bargain at $125.

At 200, check out the Powell rods, Phenix rods, and St. Croix Avid. Of all those, my choice would be the Powell Endurance.

How do you plan to fish jigs, heavy cover with braid or casting with FC line?

Any name brand rod that is "jig" specific.

Way too many rods falling into this category to give you any specific names or specs.

Whatever you purchase will do fine as long as it is "jig" specific with its parameters and the line test and jig weight you throw.

You can find Shimano Cumara rep demos for sale every so often. Right now TW is selling some for $190. Light as a feather. Sensitivity is incredible! My favorite rods. Lifetime warranty. MH 7'2 fast/xfast tip should be just perfect for standard jigging that doesn't involve heavy mats.

Name brand, why? A custom rod using a ”name brand" blank maybe far better.

If this angler is flipping a 8' X heavy is good, pitching a shorter 7' med-hvy maybe the right choice .

Few if any on this site has caught more bass on jigs than I have and my rods are not name brands. I rarely flip or pitch jigs and that is why the question was asked!

pS; Sam not picking on you, the generic answers are this site are getting to me....need a break.
