Kevin Beachy Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I got a 128 luck-e-strike kit from walmart for a t-rig but i don't know what to use. The pond i fish in is basically a bowl and does not have much structure at all. Is a lizzard good for that or is a worm better. Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted April 4, 2014 Super User Posted April 4, 2014 A weightless lizard , is a very good bait for pond bass. Give it a try and if you have a green pumpkin color try that. 2 Quote
Super User Marty Posted April 4, 2014 Super User Posted April 4, 2014 They're both good. Don't ignore one in favor of the other. Quote
fish365 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 you can also throw a lightweight version of the carolina rig. 3/16 weight range Quote
Super User Solution WIGuide Posted April 5, 2014 Super User Solution Posted April 5, 2014 Try them both, one might work better one day the other might work better on another. Depending on water temps, this time of year might be really good lizard weather if the bass are moving up to spawn or starting to. I believe salamanders can be egg snatchers so they hate them with a passion. 1 Quote
fishnfreak410 Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Don't forget to fish whatever you choose slow and set the hook hard. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted April 5, 2014 Super User Posted April 5, 2014 That kit has some good plastics in it for sure. The lizards and worms are all quality. Quote
