I have a lot of soft plastics and I can't fit no more in my tackle bag, is it ok to put em in a Plano or box or what are some of y'all's ways to store em?

At times when have suddenly realized I have accumulated a lot and want to take more than I need,

I just throw the individual bags in an old gym bag. Then just rummage through them as needed.

I got myself one of the rubber worm binders because I was having the same problem as you. Now I take my tackle bag AND my worm binder. I've found that when I keep them in a box, the colors will bleed out of them and they get deformed.

Spare Tupperware Bin.  Then have 1-2 gallon ziplocks filled with the individual bags of each type.  Then I go through and put what I need for the respective trips in a box or two, and if need be a small BPS worm wrap.

Worm binders, soft plastic storage bags, Ziploc bags, and storage totes like you would find at Home Depot.

I keep mine sorted in Plano 3700 or 3701 boxes by type of bait. Worms, craws, flukes, senko, ect. It's easier to grab exactly what I need verses finding the gallon bag labeled craws and then searching through it to find the smaller bag labeled watermelon or green pumpkin. This for on my boat but If I'm bank fishing then I throw a few of each type of plastic into a 3700 so it's all right in one box when I need it. I don't go as far as what A martens does with the terminal tackle or cranks but here's what I'm talking about.

I was just reading about this on BR a few days ago on a different thread. The consensus was to keep your baits in the original packaging and then place them in a gallon zip lock bag for maximum freshness. This is what I do but I also keep a 3600 full of my current favorites.

Good organization just depends on what your goal is ---- be super neat/organized or just be decently organized. Personally, I take gallon ziplocks and put all flukes in one, swimbaits in another, creatures in another, trailers in another, the the proverbial huge bag of worms. It has worked perfect for me. I'm not a fan of the plano box idea because it's heavier and takes up more space.

I have 2 plano 3731's. they are the super deep bins. one is for worms and minnows/flukes, the other is for frogs and creature baits. All are still kept in the original packaging. I used to put them all straight in the tackle box but some got warm and fused to the tackle box. just one bad experience but this has never failed me since.
