whether or not to leave now and skip class tomorrow to go fish me ponds. or wait until i get out of my am class at 10.15 am drive down to my house which is about 1 hour and a half away, if i do that ill hit my spots at the prime time suns up 60 degrees hopefully, i see some sunning bass. where should i start first hit the rock piles off the drops offs? or fish the flats with a swim jigs? mostly like ill fish the deep weed-lines, with a swim bait.  i don't have scent so i have to go get some one the way home.

ordering my first swimbait order tomorrow, what to get what to get. i want hudds, and a slammer. aonlg with the cardiff.

And?!???   :eyebrows:

Kind of a toss up right now, really going to depend what I can fit in the garage. Hoping it will be an 18' Triton or Stratus with a 115 or 150 on the back though  :respect-059:

Dreaming of setting the hook! It's been a long time since I went fishing let alone set the hook on a MONSTER! To make matters even worse, Bass season opens June 15 here in Ontario, Canada. :cry3:

OUCH and I thought I had it bad at May 3rd. Sucks living up north where the fishing season starts late and ends early.

These fish need to stop being so antisocial.  It just isn't polite.

Exactly.

Except once the ice melts I'll be "trout" fishing until the last Saturday this month.

I'm thinking about my new biggest bass. 6# 12oz, and being very happy about it.

Ice fishing notwithstanding, it's been so long since I've fished that it seems like something OTHER people do.

I hear you. We still have a few feet of ice on our lakes up north. I feel like I'm suffering an endless Seasonal Affective Disorder.

What's particularly galling is the Province of Ontario is allowing bass fishing year round in my Zone Management Unit (it usually opens third week of June every year) and I can't even take advantage. It's like being in a cat house with thick wallet but all the ladies are gone.

It was high 70's the last 2 days in Nebraska and today its 39 with rain/snow mix.......

Been trying to keep a small journal of my fishing with air temp and barometer.  So far, fishing from the banks, I've been writing - no bites, no bites, no bites.  I'm going to put down "no use fishing from the bank until very end of April!"
