wisconsin heat Posted April 9, 2014 Posted April 9, 2014 Dreaming of setting the hook! It's been a long time since I went fishing let alone set the hook on a MONSTER! To make matters even worse, Bass season opens June 15 here in Ontario, Canada. OUCH and I thought I had it bad at May 3rd. Sucks living up north where the fishing season starts late and ends early. redux Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I'm thinking about my new biggest bass. 6# 12oz, and being very happy about it. Quote
SudburyBasser Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Ice fishing notwithstanding, it's been so long since I've fished that it seems like something OTHER people do. I hear you. We still have a few feet of ice on our lakes up north. I feel like I'm suffering an endless Seasonal Affective Disorder. What's particularly galling is the Province of Ontario is allowing bass fishing year round in my Zone Management Unit (it usually opens third week of June every year) and I can't even take advantage. It's like being in a cat house with thick wallet but all the ladies are gone. Quote
ZB85 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 It was high 70's the last 2 days in Nebraska and today its 39 with rain/snow mix....... Quote
hoosierbass07 Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 Been trying to keep a small journal of my fishing with air temp and barometer. So far, fishing from the banks, I've been writing - no bites, no bites, no bites. I'm going to put down "no use fishing from the bank until very end of April!" Quote
