FlipSide Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Had one snap on me on the hookset yesterday... What kind of warranty do they have? Quote
georgeyew Posted April 3, 2014 Posted April 3, 2014 Just take it back to BPS (if you have one close to you) and they will most likely replace it. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted April 3, 2014 Super User Posted April 3, 2014 Pretty much no questions asked. Let me guess. HXF rod? Jeff Quote
FlipSide Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 HXF is right sir. Awesome, looks like I'll be making a drive to BPS this weekend Quote
FlipSide Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Do they make you get the same power and action? I need a new cranking rod and was gonna try to talk them into letting me exchange for the 7' med mod rod. Could probably use the "this one broke, don't trust it" pitch. Quote

They will let you exchange it for whatever you want. Hootie Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted April 3, 2014 Super User Posted April 3, 2014 Yes. And stay away from the HXF rod. I HAD 3. They have all met their deaths. Jeff Quote
FlipSide Posted April 3, 2014 Author Posted April 3, 2014 Anyone got any experience with there med mod rods? Quote
Zeeso Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Yes. I have one, throw lipless cranks in open water and squarebills, smaller cranks etc. Haven't had any issues with it. Quote
FlipSide Posted April 4, 2014 Author Posted April 4, 2014 Awesome. I was going to use it for square bills so that works out perfect Quote
Blues19 Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I would honestly look at seeing if you could change it for a Crankin Stick and get some money back. The Crankin Sticks are really nice for crankbaits! You could purchase another crankbait or two with the money you would save too. I have not heard of the breakage of Crankin Sticks at all, wher frequent on Carbonlites. Bass Pro rods are suppose to have a 1 year warrenty. Quote
Texas bassman Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 I CAUGHT THE BASS ON MY AVATAR ON A 7'6 CRANKING STICK MED MOD Quote
