I am tired of buying pakages and pakages of hooks, constantly getting new sizes, and replacing ones ive lost. I found a kit for a good deal. It has a whole bunch of these matzuo sickle hooks ranging from 2/0 to 4/0, both in black nickle and red finishes. Have you used these hooks? I expect the hooking ratio to be great seeing how the point is aimed, and they are very sharp as well. They are not ewg's, and dont fit on some of my baits, like ikas. Heres a link

I totally agree with Ain Texan.  Not just the sickle hooks, but all of the Matzuo hooks seem to bend very easily.  I used a couple of their wide gap hooks for smaller tubes and even a dink can bend these things.  Complete waste of money!  Go with the Gammies or Owners as Texan said.  Hell, even Eagle Claw would be better than those! ;D

never used them myself but i have been thinking about tryin some. now im glad that i havent. i usually use either eagle claw red wide gaps or owners and i have never had a problem with either of these hooks. dont forget that you can buy most of the hooks that they sell in a bulk pack, instead of just 3 or 4 at a time

I have used the trebles once never again between the defective ones and the weak ones they aren't worth a .01 points bend with little pressure. Take them back if you can. >:)
