Brian Needham Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 it is an awesome video........ if you are watching it in preparation to get into swimbaits, then good luck! chunking 3+oz baits aint for the weary. Quote

Brian Needham Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 thats awesome you are getting into it. most of the video seems to revolve around a 8in hudd.... I know there are other baits dicussed in depth, but the 8 in hudd seems to be the standard, in SB fishing and the video. I like Matt Peters' style.... check him out on youtube if you havent already.... I learned a bunch from that video and his you tube channel, but the big swimbaits aint my thing. I still have my 68s and 5 and 6 inch bullshads, I just cant do the 8 in hudds. I will be looking for your pictures soon!!! Quote

I watched all his vids on youtube he has very good info on there. the video was good it more of a general swimbait vid about the basic baits but really that's all you need. my next tackle order will consist of hudds, ms slammers, and 2 rats.i already have hollow bodied swimbaits. Ive been fishing on a local lake "the only only with native and stocked trout" Annual stocking of 70-500, 9-14 inch brown trout, 4,800, 2 inch Kokanee Salmon, and 420-580, 8.5-9.5 inch rainbow trout. ive been taking some time to learn the lake so well see how it turns out. And thanks hopefully ill nail a couple this year! Quote
