guisingerevan Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 Has anyone used any of the hard baits in Gary Yamamoto's new lineup? They look sweet and are priced well. If you've had any experience with them let me know what you thought about them, thanks Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted March 31, 2014 Super User Posted March 31, 2014 Got the Yamamoto popper I gotta try this year. Looks good, don't see why it wouldn't work. It has a smaller profile which I like. Quote
CTGalloway21 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 come with Mustad Triple grip hooks too. Quote

I agree, the paint job on them are what makes me want to get some (that and I'm always looking for new tackle haha). Hope it does well for you, good luck! 1 Quote
bassboy107 Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I got the sexy shad square bill when they first came out before this winter. I got to use it a bit and it was pretty good for me! I got a few fish on it before i was iced in this winter. Overall it is a good bait IMO. Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted March 31, 2014 Super User Posted March 31, 2014 I have used the jerk bait, the 6 foot crank, the pencil and the popper. So far they are just ok, except for the crank. Popper works but does not gurgle like I like. Pencil is not an easy one to walk, and therefor gets passed over. The jerk bait will get tested more, but it has a tight action, not very erratic. It will have it's time I am sure. The crank is nice. A big plus is no need for hook changes! Jeff Quote
fishva Posted March 31, 2014 Posted March 31, 2014 I bought a few of the cranks a year or so ago. They're in my regular rotation. Quote
Super User ww2farmer Posted March 31, 2014 Super User Posted March 31, 2014 I got a couple as Christmas gifts. Based on looks alone, I am not impressed. They are probably not going to be in the regular rotation, and might even be trade/sale fodder. Quote
