fishingkidPA Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 ok guys, i dont know how many of you have every used case plastics. But at my recent sportmans expo, i talked to the man who i think was one of the makers. I bought his wackie jack and if you like to wacky rig, you better have this or your crazy! and get his wacky tool, it is a rubber band systems so your not putting your hook through the worm and makes it last so much longer, cause when you catch one the rubber band slides up the line with the worm and doesnt let the bass get it! check out his products http://madtoms.com/ ;D better than senkos 8-) Quote

P.S. Thanks for the idea, but I am sticking with my senkos regardless. I'm sick of "new" senko imitators coming up every few weeks. Quote

Keep senkos in your box but just give these a try, seriously amazing Quote
Pitchinkid Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 yeh they have been out for at least 3-4 years. I prefer the Jacks Worm that Case makes but they are definitely fish catchers. Quote
fishingkidPA Posted February 18, 2011 Author Posted February 18, 2011 also dont you think senkos are a bit overpriced? yea they produce but they dont stand up very long at all, seem to get torn easily. im giving zoom trick worms a try Quote

You can really work these well! but they do make stick baits like senkos which work just as well but less money Quote
MFBAB Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I catch some in the creeks on their Hellgramite. Quote
Super User deep Posted February 18, 2011 Super User Posted February 18, 2011 also dont you think senkos are a bit overpriced? yea they produce but they dont stand up very long at all, seem to get torn easily. im giving zoom trick worms a try I can get two fish average on a senko, at least. T-Rig each end, when both ends get torn up, wacky rig it. And use Mend-it. Mathematically, I should get at least three fish per senko, but it gets thrown off the hook by the fish sooner or later. But I'm not complaining. I'd rather spend $6 and catch 15 fish, than spend $3 and catch one or two. Quote
Pitchinkid Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 If anybody would like a bag or two, i think i have a few i could cough up. No charge, but you gotta post a pic of the fish you catch on them. First to shoot me a PM gets them. Quote
Super User burleytog Posted February 18, 2011 Super User Posted February 18, 2011 Some of the hardest plastics I've ever fished. Quote
Blue Streak Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 I have been using Case Paddle Jacks for a few years and do pretty well with them. Quote

Another guy in our group also had no results with them...I guess that makes it X3. Quote
Super User Dan: Posted February 18, 2011 Super User Posted February 18, 2011 Burley, that surprises me. I used to fish their "Sinkin' Salty Shads" EXTENSIVELY and they were soft as hell. The only reason I stopped fishing them was because they ripped up too easily. The Sinkin' Salty Shad was probably my favorite plastic jerkbait because they don't float as much as a fluke or other jerkbaits so it's easier to get them done a little in the water column. For those of you who are arguing for the senko: the specific bait that the OP is talking about is NOT a traditional stick bait. It is tapered at both ends. Quote
Super User Gatorbassman Posted February 18, 2011 Super User Posted February 18, 2011 Why argue about it. We all know senkos suck. 8-) Quote
Pitchinkid Posted February 18, 2011 Posted February 18, 2011 Vinny Chase was the first to PM me, so he gets them. Yeh i think there a bit on the hard side as well, but with the wacky Jack, the ends of the baits are so thin that any movement through the water at all causes the bait to react greatly. Quote
