flyphisher # Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Are swimbaits just a clear water type bait? Anybody have any luck in dirty water with them? If so what baits do you use? Quote
Lightninrod Posted April 7, 2007 Posted April 7, 2007 Look at the color of the water in this pic! Another one. Even darker! More dirty water. Obviously, swimbaits(at least Matt's Baby Bass) work in dingy, nasty looking water. Dan Quote
Randall Posted April 8, 2007 Posted April 8, 2007 I have caught them in real muddy water with a visibility of less than a foot on swimbaits. They excel in clear water because of their natural appearance in the water but most also move a lot of water due to their size so they will work in muddy water. Just use any swimbaits that fish well at slow speeds. Quote
