buckeye_bass66 Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 Finally got new brake pads for my trailer after searching for them for 4 days. The brake pads came out to be from a 1991 Dodge Daytona and I had to grind the pads so they fit. Got the right side pads and everything put back together so onto the left side, changing them out I tried to take channel locks to push the piston on the caliper in and wouldn't budge. Took it off and it's seized so I have to replace it. Can't find the caliper to save my life. It says AJ 6 and on the back it says UFP which is a marine master website and I can't find it. Any suggestions??? It's a 2003 triton bass boat trailer. I thought about just leaving it the way it was and not worrying about it but I know deep down I should fix it. Any help would be very helpful Quote

jhoffman Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 You might be able to rebuild it. Is it really a caliper as in disc brakes or is it a drum brake? Take the caliper to a local mechanic, i bet he can find something. Quote
