Has anybody used this lure ever? Is it effective? It seems that it would only get big bass, which is the type of lure i am looking for. Thanks for any input

I use the shad colored ones because that is the primary food source in lakes I fish.. They run good and I have caught a few fish on them. I dont use swimbaits alot so I dont buy the Huds or Deps but when I feel like throwing one this is what I tie.

ok thank you. We don't have any shad in our waters over here, just bluegill. I have bluegill swimbaits but i wanted to try something bigger, like this baby bass.

I haven't even seen this bait before... It really looks good though... I used the bluegill boot tails years ago and I did ok with them. I say give it a go... They are at least affordable!

Good luck...

what size is that?  I think they are fairly small 4'' or so.

I have used bigger swimshads and typically storm baits are really dense and best fished like a jig on bottom or swimming on bottom- which is where you should be fishing it anyhow...
