I'm looking for a topwater rod to throw frogs, poppers, buzzbaits, etc. It will be paired with a BB1 Pro and 65lb braid. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any advice

One more thing...the rod can't be more than 7'3" due to travel purposes and my budget is around $100 give or take a few bucks. Thanks

I throw frogs on a MH *** Black. If you're in serious grass I'd suggest the heavy but the MH is plenty rod for 1/2 oz froggin and topwater duty. 65 lb braid seems like overkill but it'll do.

Duckett ghost 6'10" medium.

IMO what you wanna do is 2x rods for me, I live my 6'8 Sellus for treble tops and the *** is good for frogs

MH F rod, loosen up your drag some for the poppers or you might rip out treble hooks.  I like the *** recommendation although I don't use one myself, they seem overwhelming popular at your price point.

I think it might be tough to throw poppers on a rod your gonna use for frogs and buzzbaits. Just my opinion

It's already been said but I feel this is a 2 rod situation but you can get by with 1. You'll just have to compromise somewhere. I like a shorter 6'9 rod with a mod or mod/fast action for topwater and a longer 7'3 or 7'4 rod with fast or x fast action for frogs and buzzbaits. #65 might be a bit much unless you have some really nasty cover. #50 or even #30 could be fine. If you choose to throw topwater I'd say tie a long leader of mono or copolymer to your braid. As mentioned loosen your drag too.

I'm with everyone else on this, you're looking for 2 rods. If you absolutely must make it work with 1 rod, then I'd go with a 7' MH/F of whatever rod you prefer.
