Of course they are worth buying.

Crankbaits produce a special specific sound and it is always good to have another choice that gives off a different sound.

If you don't get hit on your Lucky Craft or Bandit give the BPS crank a try.

Sooner or later you will find the wobble, color, depth and sound the bass are going to strike.  :)

The XPS Professional and Lazer Eye lines aren't bad, especially when they are on sale. I've had decent success with The Egg and the Shallow Divers. I'd stay away from the cheapos like the Tourney Specials and XTS - you can bend the hooks with your finger...almost like aluminum.

I have a few of the XPS professional shallow runners w/the coffin shaped square bill, that go for $6.99. The hooks are crap, but I have caught plenty of fish on them. I'd buy more if they were cheaper, but for a store brand w/crap hooks $7 is too much for them. Even more so when you can buy a Bandit and fish it right out of the box for $5.
