nokturnal_one Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 I'm moving down to St George in May and I'm just looking for people to fish with. I don't have a boat so i beat the shoreline, an invite on a boat would be nice but I'm fine with walking. Hit me up if anyone wants to get out and fish. Quote
starcraft1 Posted March 30, 2014 Posted March 30, 2014 When you get out there, check with local bait shops. I was talking to a guide who was out here of a T.O.C. on Clear lake and he told me there's 4 or 5 (don't reminder which) around the St. George area that local clubs fish. I think you'll find the people very friendly and helpful. Quote
zachvu Posted April 1, 2014 Posted April 1, 2014 Hey hey! New to the forums and bassin, but I'm out this way and have a "boat". It's an old beater boat, nothing fancy, but it gets ya off the shoreline! Sand Hollow and Quail are the two primary places, and Southern Utah Bass Anglers (the ones I've spoke to anyway) are some friendly people! Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted April 1, 2014 Super User Posted April 1, 2014 You are close to Sand Hollow and Quail Creek, which are two of the best largemouth fisheries in the entire state. Lake Mead is fairly close as well, and if you are up for a longer trip, the Phoenix area has a bunch of big reservoirs with on occasional double digit fish in places like Lake Pleasant, Apache, Saguaro, and Bartlett.
