I have always wondered who votes for these things. I have never known anyone who has voted or who has ever been ask to vote. Has anyone on this site ever voted in that survey? Where do the votes come from and how many voters are there?

If it bugs you that much , why don't you contact Field and Stream and see if they'll enlighten you.

There have been times on the water when anglers tell me that they cant get the baits to run straight. Within 30 seconds on holding the bait -a tweak here a tweak there -they run straight. I wish I could be there to fix them.Just make sure that the hook-wire-and top part of the wire where the blade is are aligned. That usually fixes the problem/ id one component is out of align then they act like a rudder and made them swim left or right.

Just a little follow-up...

I have a black on black that has been "destroyed"

several times over the years. With a little adjustment,

the Cavitron becomes even more productive than

new.

That's definitely something to be proud of, Bobby. How many lure makers can make the claim that one of their lures was voted among the best of all time?

Haven't you ever wondered about it? They have had this in their magazine for years but never say  who votes, never. Maybe I will contact them and I will  be sure let you know what they say.

You should do it for your own piece of mind.

Thanks for the advice but I have plenty of peace of mind. I never said it bugged me, I said I have wondered about it. I think it is a legimate question.

There are plenty of great lures out there. If any one of them helped you or someone you know especially a child catch a fish - and put a smile on their face-then to me that is the greatest lure of all time.
