Bobby Uhrig Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Just got a call from Field and Stream. They are writing an article -"The Legend Lures" They had done some surveys and The Cavitron was voted as one of the top fishing lures of all time. It will be out in the next edition. Pretty cool. Super User Goose52 Posted February 9, 2011 Super User Posted February 9, 2011 Cool indeed! I'm letting my subscription to F&S expire, but I have enough remaining to get that issue. Looking forward to seeing how the vote went...and how many of these baits I have in my inventory... ;D Quote
Uncle Leo Posted February 9, 2011 Posted February 9, 2011 Good deal, that should spark sales for you , Bobby. Quote

BadKarma42 Posted February 10, 2011 Posted February 10, 2011 Good deal! I rarely use any buzzbait other than the Cavitron anymore. Quote
Blue Streak Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I have always wondered who votes for these things. I have never known anyone who has voted or who has ever been ask to vote. Has anyone on this site ever voted in that survey? Where do the votes come from and how many voters are there? Quote
1bassbroker Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 I really like them as well. Lunker lures were my goto's for a long time even though they aren't the most expensive they work. Quote
rubba bubba Posted February 11, 2011 Posted February 11, 2011 Just think how popular they'd really be if they only had a 1/2 oz model. Quote
BassThumb Posted February 12, 2011 Posted February 12, 2011 Just think how popular they'd really be if they only had a 1/2 oz model. Congrats! Not to rain on your parade, but he's got a point. The 3/8 black/black Cavitron buzzbait is one of my favorite lures ever. I haven't bought another company's 1/4 or 3/8 oz buzzbait since I bought my first Cavitron a couple years ago, but I still buy and frequently use 1/2 oz models from other manufacturers on windy days. Bigbarge50 Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Just bought a 3/8th's ounce for the occasion..... and I needed a new buzzbait. Also got some of those shakey heads.... not a technique I used a lot last year, but planning on changing that this year. Hopefully those help. Quote
Milton Waddams Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Not sure who did the voting on this but I have had two of them and never been able to get them to run straight or vertical, all they want to do is roll over on their side no matter what speed. Anybody interested in buyin a couple of cavitrons? Quote
rubba bubba Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 Contact Bobby. If you're having trouble with his product, he'll take care of you. Quote
Super User roadwarrior Posted February 14, 2011 Super User Posted February 14, 2011 CONGRATULATIONS! I gave away all other buzzbaits. The Cavitron has been a very productive lure for me. I'm glad the national media has taken notice. Quote
