I think the soft jerkbait is a great bait, what is your favorite one and why?  I have been using the Zoom and a Gambler, but that is just because those are what i bought.  for the pre-spawn i want to make sure i have a good one, give me some suggestions.

I have tried to use other soft jerk baits but I have always come back to Zoom super flukes.  This year I'm going to try out the regular flukes and see how they do.  I've had much success with the watermelon color variations.  I also have the shad colors and albino, but I haven't caught anything on those yet, just watermelon seed.

Super flukes is all I use now, never had much luck with jr's.

Watermelon seed and baby bass do it for me.

Big Bite Baits Jerk Minnow.  Heavier than a zoom so I can throw it on a baitcaster.

Have tried most of the soft baits but keep coming back to the Sluggo.  It works the best for me.

Really like the bass assassins as well as sluggos, though I use the super flukes more than any others. They flat out rock.

I had great success today with Zoom fluke pearl/chart tail. Caught 3, 2lb bass in about an hour today.
