Lazz Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I'll be hitting bps Thu to pick up a few things an one of them was gonna be some horny toads but notice the humpin toads are on sale so I thought maybe I'd try them out but my buddy tells me there not that durable which seems strange to me cause I use stickos quite a bit and there Really durable. So I thought I'd ask u guys what you think? Worth it or pass? Quote
1234567 Posted March 25, 2014 Posted March 25, 2014 I can not tell you how well these work, but I did buy 5 boxes of the 49 piece humpin toad kits at 16.99 online and at that price it is the best deal for frogs hands down. Since I'll be using mine for snakeheads Im not expecting to get more than one fish per frog which is fine. Another reason why I was looking for biggest band for my buck. In hand they look as they would work as well as any other frog except I don't think that they are salted like the zoom horny toads which I was hoping they were. First thing I did was put one in my mouth and I tasted no salt! Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted March 26, 2014 Super User Posted March 26, 2014 Now thats a deal id like to hear back about how they work ! Quote
1234567 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Haha....just to clarify it was 16.99 per box. Still a great deal for 48 frogs and a plano box. 1 Quote
trackersc Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 i have use the humpin toads and never had any problems with durabilty. they held up just as well as the yum money frogs. Quote
1234567 Posted March 26, 2014 Posted March 26, 2014 Tracker did the bass hold on to them or do they spit em quick. The zoom horny toads theyll hold onto forever it seems. Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted March 26, 2014 Super User Posted March 26, 2014 Yeah still not a bad price for 48 frogs. Pm me the link? Quote
trackersc Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 I never used the zoom horny toads only the bps frogs and the yum frogs and the bass held on to the humpin frogs just as well as the yum version. Quote
