Hey yall,

I am Matt from Mississippi. I enjoy catching the finned freaks! Love to site fish for the big mammas on the beds. Fishing here in the state lakes of Mississippi (aside from Neshoba Co. Lake) has been rough the last couple of years. However that does not stop me from going.

I recently got married to my beautiful wife with 2 kids. Turns out there are three nice ponds on her land. I'm trying to find out information on how to manage these fine waterways :). I want to produce trophy bass.

I caught thispost-47432-0-94754900-1395762686_thumb.j skinny 7lbs bass out of one 2 weeks ago.

I would try and find out what kind of baitfish live in the ponds. When you do, stock it full of em'. Itll give all the bass a nice meal! If you cant find what type of baitfish live there, just stock the ponds with crawfish. They wont die and bass love them! A local pond where i live was stocked with alot of bait a few years back and some of the biggest bass in the state are caught out of that pond now.
