I am intrigued by the 6'9" MH Kistler with a bottom lure rating of 1/8 oz.

If you're going to get a Denali, I'd look at the Kovert. I think Valley Sports has them.

I bought 4 Denali rods and only kept 1. Sold the others before I even tried them. They all varied in power and series. Each one of them were tip heavy to me except the 1 I kept which is a 7' med/mod crankbait rod. I had 2 Jadewood's,Rosewood, and Kovert. I don't know if I'm just spoiled by having very well balanced combos or what but these were not it for me.

I had some of Kistlers older model magnesium TS rods and they were very nice. I would buy a kistler over a Denali personally.

I haven't had the Pro Series out on the water yet, but I really like the feel.  Without having them on the water, it feels very similar in balance/weight to the Helium 3, and it's only half the cost. I have never used a Denali, so it'd be hard for me to give a good comparison there, but I can say with certainty you wouldn't be disappointed by the Pro Series.

I think I might just save up a couple more weeks and buy another dobyns! Haha ice is just starting to melt and I'm going on vacation so I don't need the rod right away!

I've never used any Kistler products but I own several Denali rods. In fact I bought a couple from rippin-lips (thanks again bud). To me the rods feel just right especially the Kovert series worm and jig rods. The Denali Jadewood in my opinion is worth more than the price tag they have on it. Customer service is awesome. With the way companies are ran these days top notch customer service is what keeps me around and coming back. I would go with the Jadewood. Never seen the Kistler don't need to.

Don't know about the Pro series, but I'd save a few more bucks and get the KLX. It will blow away any other rod in that price range. My KLX rods are much more sensitive than my Dobyns Champion at a much lower cost. You can use a code to save 15% on the KLX as well, comes out pretty good in the end, for a far superior rod.

The pro series Kistler is just the $99 Carbon steel with different guides, truth be told you would be better off getting something different, the carbon steel rods are heavy, they feel strong but heavy and would think there is much feel to them. If you go with Kistler then start with a KLX, that is built on a really good blank and the components are all good. The only problem with the Kistler line is if you have a problem it is like pulling teeth to get them to honor a warranty, which is basically 1 year but most rods break from user error so unless you throw your rods around and step on them I wouldn't worry.
