Fished a club tournament today on the east side of US27.  Lots of fish in the canals, the water level seem to dropping pretty fast.  I was out there last weekend, and the water was definitely lower today.  Managed a bag of 4 fish, with the biggest weighing 4.3lbs.  Caught all my fish flippin.  Lots of fish where caught on Rattle Traps, but mostly small.

Excluding any tournaments you may have, drop off across the street to the West side. Really nice fish in there.

This is the exact ramp I was thinking about launching at.  Lou does this canal also hold snakeheads.  I apologize if my questions are redundant and annoying except I have no idea what canals people are talking about when they say l67, c17 blah blah!  The only one I'm familiar with is the c14.  I think these canals have other names as well besides their C names??  I think Capt. Shane and D. Martin have vids on this canal??

1-7 the only area that I know of that holds snakeheads is on the North side of the border of WC2. The canal that runs North on the perimeter of Markham park that has the levy separating the glades with civilization. Has far as WC2 and US27 having snakeheads, I have yet to see or catch one. Don't sweat it too much, there are plenty of mudfish there and they fight almost the same.

lol, true that mudfish are the same fight wise.  Too be honest I want to catch one(snakehead) to see what it taste like.  I've heard they are really good.  Since i don't eat bass and rarely saltwater fish anymore, I figured what a better way to make a long trip worth it by bringing home some snakehead dinner once in awhile!!

Was looking at that while I was driving.  I'll definitely give it a shot.

The cover on the West side is different than the East side imho. My PB was caught there years ago.

Very, very likely. People confuse the two all the time. There are mudfish galore in the glades. Big ones...
