Seems like all the stores are now carrying Gary Yamamoto's line of cranks, jerks and topwaters.

They look really good, but I was wondering what those out there who have used them have to say.

I got a Yamamoto popper over the winter. I'm curious about these hard baits as well. Anxious to get out and try them as soon as the ice melts.

As long as they run true I cannot see why they won't work. Good hooks, good selection of colors, competitive pricing, and a wide selection to cover most of fishing depths and style except deep deep cranking. I like it that the finish won't seem to deteriorate like those KVDs but I haven't really fished the yamas yet to really know. I've just thrown it a few times in the few open water I can find.

I picked up a square bill and a Spook-type topwater but they haven't been wet yet.

I got a jerkbait and I'm not a fan. It didn't seem to run that well. I will give it another shot this year but usually the first impression is correct. The poppers do look nice.
