Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted March 23, 2014 Super User Posted March 23, 2014 I got a 7'9 swimbait rod, its my first dedicated rod for swimbait. Its a heavy fast tip . Is it too stiff or you think ill be fine? Quote
RippinLips4 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 My cousin uses one for A-Rigs, he fishes loomis rods and still uses that rod instead, i guess he likes it. 1 Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 23, 2014 Global Moderator Posted March 23, 2014 It will cast a swimbait, and if you're ever attacked by a rabid Bigfoot you could probably successfully defend yourself with it too! Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted March 23, 2014 Super User Posted March 23, 2014 I use it and it will throw 1-6oz baits. Its rated up to 4 but you can go heavier. It gets the job done and doesn't break the bank. I wouldn't use it for anything other than swimbaits. 1 Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted March 23, 2014 Author Super User Posted March 23, 2014 For what? swimabits, hudds, slammers, and a few hard treble hook baits. Quote
