Now I know this won't apply to everyone because not everyone listens to music while fishing, and I enjoy peace and quiet as well, but on occasion I do enjoy a few tunes while out on the water.  My favorite album to listen to would be the whole Stadium Arcadium album by the Red Hot Chili Peppers.  I was just curious to what you guys listen to while fishing! Fish on!!  :respect-059:  :respect-059:  :respect-059:

The noise of man is left in my wake,

so I can listen to the music of nature.

My favorite would probably have to be the music my reel makes when a big bass is peeling drag!

Depends, but most of the time a classic rock station.

That would be my answer exactly if the question was, "What do you listen to on your way to and from the lake". While I'm actually fishing, I don't listen to any.

I don't rock out, but I do feel like having some music to listen to helps pass the time and keep me in a positive mood.

This year about half way through the season, during basketball practice we started letting our HS girls listen to music while doing drills. We found that their intensity level and focus seemed to actually go up. Music can be a point of focus and a system to release energy that otherwise may be kept inside.

I don't listen to anything while I'm fishing but usually on the way to fishing I'll be blasting old school hip hop (preferably Wu Tang) or heavy metal.

No music. Just the amazing sounds of nature all around.

This nature you guys talk about must include guys in outboards doing 70 mph across the lake, people in wave runners shooting donuts and people talking, LOL. That's usually what I hear when I am expecting silence.

Now, a tree stand, that is a different story.

Most of the time like most of you guys its just me an mother nature. A bird singing, crickets chirping, frog croaking, fish jumping, and that sweet sound of my line flying into the water as I wrestle a big bass onto shore or a boat. BUT! On rare occassions on my kayak I will keep an ear bud in and listen to some music that soothes my soul when the lake is loud (rarely but it happens especially on the weekends) So I can tune out the other noise and focus on the lake. I'll listen to Moe., Phish, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Johnny Cash, a vast majority. I don't really have one type of music I listen to though. I pretty much listen to everything those are just among my favorites.

I fish to relax though so while on some days I may listen to rap or heavier rock it isn't meant for the lake, sorry. Not for me anyways.

This always makes me think of the Blues Brothers! one of the best movies of all time!
