Missourifishin Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I have a box that is all square bills, and other shallow cranks that I'm pretty confident in. But I'm afraid that if I really kept a "confidence box" I'd never try new things. 1 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted March 21, 2014 Super User Posted March 21, 2014 I don't keep my confidence in a box or tied on a rod. Confidence is built through success. Success only comes with time on the water. Quote
Delaware Valley Tackle Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Yup, Location / Depth / Presentation are the keys and when you get all those right you can have confidence in anything you throw at 'em. Quote

As far as baits, I carry: Frog, stickworms, fluke, spinnerbaits trickworm and centipedes. If I can't catch something with any of those baits its real baaaad day. Quote

Brian Needham Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 is anyone else surprised on how much shallow water stuff is listed Quote
BassAddict1911 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Gotta love Shallow - many a angler would be lost without it ... as I can clearly attest;) **** That Horrible Nightmare that wakes you up during the middle of the night in a cold sweat. All you can remember from the dream is that largemouth bass would never again live in shallows, but had all permanently moved to 20 ft. deep ledges... 1 Quote
