Can't remember. Maybe an ugly stick with an Abu spinning reel

At last you're using good equipment, I knew you would come around.

Have no idea what I caught it on, where I caught it, how big it was, what rod and reel.  I do know what I caught my last one on, Thursday afternoon about a 5 pounder on a ml supreme 30 using a crappie jig.

Haha... Come on Snook... I love my Powell's tho.

Most of my catfish gear and some striper gear are ugly sticks. Good rods.

I'll let you know in about 6 months when all the snow and ice finally melts off. Forecasted lows in the single digits through next Tuesday....really?? Screw you WI!!

Gen 2 Revo 6.4:1 with 50lb braid and a 7'2 MH XF Shimano Crucial

Very first time trying to flip and pitch, i caught my cat. Luckily I cut the hook off my jig. Practicing flipping and pitching in the house is much more fun when you have a cat. She enjoys it and so do I. It may not be a bass but I brought her all the way back and was able to scoop her up. A solid 22 pounder!

First bass ate the same bait on the same set up, can't remember which one it was but it was one of these two!

Finally got the boat out on the river today. I caught my first fish of the season, a 2 lb largemouth, on a homemade green pumpkin jig. My rod was a 7'1 mh daiwa cielo paired with a lews speed spool and 15lb spiderwire ez fluoro. Man did it feel nice to finally get out on the water!

I got my first bass today on a Black spinner bait, 7ft compre MH, Lews speed spool. Also managed to snag a shad in the face with a crank bait, and got a channel cat on the black spinnerbait as well.

Don't recall. Probably one of my spinning setups, either with a Stradic, or the Lexa.

Then again, it might've been on a casting rig, either my Chronarch, or Lexa.

I've caught a few this year so far, and the outings have been somewhat far apart from each other, so I just don't recall fully.  :Idontknow:

Oh man, I must have misread this thread... I. Thought I said what was your first bass caught on... Not your first first this year.... Haha my answer was Idk..an ugly stick maybe... Lol

This year I think it was dropshot fish on a Powell spinning rod.
