The Rooster Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Hat. Miserable without a hat. Definitely a hat. Also water, but between the two I've went off and forgot both at different times in the past and I missed the hat the most. Quote
MarksHooked Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 In that case I change my answer to eyesight. Can you imagine being a blind bass fisherman out on a boat...casting all over the place haha. That would make a good ed bass master video. http://www.torontosportshow.ca/blind_fishing_boat/ Quote
bassguytom Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 If it's just one thing it would have to be my hat. Quote

RB 77 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Well, besides from the obvious answer "equipment" (rod, reel, line, lures, etc.) I would say water. Not having a source of hydration can make for a very short day on the water. Honorable mention goes to tp, sunscreen, and sunglasses. Quote
bmac31 Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 A Coke and excedrin or I'll get a nasty migraine. Quote
shootermcbob Posted March 22, 2014 Posted March 22, 2014 Sunglasses and hat....wear contacts and if I don't have them....horrible headache will be right around the corner Quote
Super User SirSnookalot Posted March 22, 2014 Super User Posted March 22, 2014 Other than than gear it would be shoes or some kind of appropriate footwear. On a boat I want a shoe that won't slide on the deck as well giving me side support. We have fire ants down here, barefoot or sandals doesn't always work well. On the beach, there can be broken bottles, sharp sea shells, jellyfish, debris being washed ashore and maybe a hook or lure. Quote
Super User Grizzn N Bassin Posted March 22, 2014 Super User Posted March 22, 2014 My polarized aviators and a hat or bandanna . Quote
Super User Jeff H Posted March 23, 2014 Super User Posted March 23, 2014 There is too much "one thing leads to another" involved in this question. But... other than a boat, I require bow mount trolling motor. It makes covering water easy. After you have fished from a bass boat w/bow mount TM for years, trying to fish without one is an exercise in frustration. I would rather wade fish than from a boat sans bow mount TM. Quote
Fish Murderer 71 Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Marlboro Green 72's and a lighter. I forgot my lighter one day- it was a short fishing trip. 1 Quote

pitchin fool Posted March 27, 2014 Posted March 27, 2014 Plenty of food and water to keep the energy up along with the focus intensity. Most people don't realize how much focus they lose because of hunger. Less focus = less fish! Quote
