jeff25 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Has anyone used a zoom super fluke as either a spinnerbait or chatterbait trailer? Quote
5dollarsplash Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 Yep, worked good on the chatterbait until the pike took the whole lot lol. It's a unique action, but I think it gives them something to key in on when they strike. I still use grubs most of the time for those techniques. Quote
Super User iabass8 Posted March 19, 2014 Super User Posted March 19, 2014 Yes Also a buzzbait Works good Quote
Super User A-Jay Posted March 19, 2014 Super User Posted March 19, 2014 Mag Fluke on a Scrounger ~ Killer. A-Jay 2 Quote
CTGalloway21 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 you could but I prefer something with a paddle tail, etc to give off more vibration. Quote
Super User Teal Posted March 19, 2014 Super User Posted March 19, 2014 Ill use the flukes and fluke Jrs as trailers when I'm attemping a more subtle approach... To add to what ajay said, sometimes I've found a paddle tail to be overkill on a scrounger so will use the fluke or Jr instead. 1 Quote
livetofish28 Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Yup lake anna bait co cc minnow in pearl on the back of a black and blue chatterbait amazing action Quote
Super User lmbfisherman Posted March 20, 2014 Super User Posted March 20, 2014 This thread has inspired me to try other ways to fish fluke type baits! Quote
Super User smalljaw67 Posted March 20, 2014 Super User Posted March 20, 2014 I like a small swim bait as a swim jig trailer but I love the fluke as chatterbait trailer, I use River Rock Baits 4" Jointed jerkbait, it has more movement than the fluke ibut same type of bait. Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 22, 2014 Global Moderator Posted March 22, 2014 I use 2/3 of a BPS Stick O as a trailer for my bladed jigs, I'm sure a fluke will do way more than those do and I catch plenty of fish. Quote
