Yep, worked good on the chatterbait until the pike took the whole lot lol.  It's a unique action, but I think it gives them something to key in on when they strike.  I still use grubs most of the time for those techniques.

you could but I prefer something with a paddle tail, etc to give off more vibration.

Ill use the flukes and fluke Jrs as trailers when I'm attemping a more subtle approach...

To add to what ajay said, sometimes I've found a paddle tail to be overkill on a scrounger so will use the fluke or Jr instead.

I like a small swim bait as a swim jig trailer but I love the fluke as chatterbait trailer, I use River Rock Baits 4" Jointed jerkbait, it has more movement than the fluke ibut same type of bait.

I use 2/3 of a BPS Stick O as a trailer for my bladed jigs, I'm sure a fluke will do way more than those do and I catch plenty of fish.
