Hey all,

I am new to the site as of today. I'm an avid tournament angler who goes to school on the side...(poor attempt at a joke.)

I currently live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, where we are currently buried under 50"s of snow. (Yes it sucks, and a move is in the near future.) I'm looking forward to being an active participant of the forum and I'm hoping to learn a lot from the more "seasoned" anglers on the board.

No other place quite like it. Just wish I was closer to St. Clair, and Erie!

One of the first times my wife and I were visiting the U.P., my wife kept seeing all of these

"Party Stores". She couldn't figure out why when there are so few people, they needed so many places selling balloons and party hats. That's when I told here that they serve a lot of alcohol at parties in the U.P.
