CTGalloway21 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 So I was looking around on TW at various spinnerbaits/chatterbaits and found two that look awesome. Revenge Baits - also found out they were from Birmginham about an hour from me. D&M Piranha Swim Jigs anybody used any of these brands? I placed a small order to sample their products. Quote
rbreedi1 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I fish the pirahna swim jigs and they are top notch. Really like them. 1 Quote
Super User 00 mod Posted March 19, 2014 Super User Posted March 19, 2014 D&M have been my go to for the last couple years! trying out Siebert's fogy here real soon as well! Jeff Quote
CTGalloway21 Posted March 19, 2014 Author Posted March 19, 2014 my buddy just ordered a lot of Siebert stuff. I will check it out when he gets it in. Quote
JDUB Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 The D&m is the best one I've thrown, much better then the z man in my opinion. On a side note the frenzy bladed jig is by far the worst I've used. 1 Quote
aharris Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 so I mean...does it have more vibration or more durable or what? Why is it so much better? Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted March 19, 2014 Super User Posted March 19, 2014 I love revenge swim jigs. Will buy their spinner baits in a couple weeks. Quote
NathanW Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 D&M is better due to quality of components and skirt/color detail. If you see one and feel one in your hand you will understand why they are more expensive. 2 Quote
flippin and pitchin Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 I have fished Revenge spinnerbaits and jigs for several years. They are a quality bait and have some unique colors that work well in my region. The D& M Piranha vibrating jig is, to date, the best I have fished. It's a high quality product with great hooks and hardware. Some VJ's lock up or jam when fished slowly. D&M doesn't have that problem. Siebert products are exceptional quality with great design features. I would like to try a Fogi but I'm stocked to the gills right now. Quote
Tartan34 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 D&M here also. Paired with a Keitech Fat, they have been deadly for me. Quote

CJV Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 D&M makes one of the finest vibrating jigs on the market I've been using them even before they were sold on TW and the big secret was let out. There were numerous top tour professionals who were sponsored by companies like zman, revenge, frenzy, etc and they were all throwing the piranha! Also if you guys think the piranha is nice check out the gar it's amazing in the grass. Also for fishing the deeper stuff try a few of there flipping spins. Quote
MainelyBASS Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 D&M Piranha Swim Jig is my go to vibrating jig as well. My biggest reasons why I like them are basically what everyone else has said, plus they come in heavier sizes than other companies models which allows me to fish it deeper in the water column. Still haven't had a skirt fall off or slide down a piranha swim jig yet after a couple seasons of fishing with them. Quote
