I love the Rapala Rippin' Rap in both sizes (7/8thoz and 1/2oz). Any natural color works well, along with chrome colors. Those are really the only lipless crankbaits i use anymore, but for a little cheaper ExCalibur lipless cranks are pretty good. I also prefer the ExCaliburs for vertical/ice fishing because it has a very tight wiggle. Both are great baits, and i have caught nice fish on both.

XCalibur XRK75 Rayburn Red

XCalibur XRK100 Foxy Momma

Custom lure I had my lure building buddy make me out of PVC stock, same size and shape as the XCalibur 3/4 ounce baits. It has no rattles and you wouldn't believe how many fish I have caught on them. I have 5 in different colors red craw and bone fish are my best 2 producers.

1/4 oz. Rat-L-Traps in silver and gold for shallows, 1/2 oz. Red Eyes in Citrus Shad,Gold Sexy Shad & Oyster everywhere else.

I like the Cordell Super Spots and Rat-L-Traps and HATE the H2O Express lipless cranks from Academy.

It seems for me that they either want a red eye shad, or an xcalibur one knocker. I will throw a rattle-trap or super spot if I run out of both of these lol.
