It was a three piece seat with the back as one piece held on by brackets on either side with just screws. The bench was two pieces held on with rivets which I drilled out and they popped right off. The new ones have the backs which are held on by 4 screws on a plastic heavy duty bracket with the bottoms having a hinge. Hardest part was lining up right where I wanted them. Took about 2 hours total. Quote
