Super User Redlinerobert Posted March 17, 2014 Super User Posted March 17, 2014 Thought about this from another thread here and did not want to hijack. What's the worst thing you've eaten? From what I can remember, I had some bear meat a few years back at a barbecue. It tasted awful. Really gamey. Don't think I'll be doing that ever again. Quote

Super User iabass8 Posted March 17, 2014 Super User Posted March 17, 2014 Some ******* tricked me into eating friend carp once. Just thinking about that taste can make me gag. I did try bear once up north. it was not as bad as the carp. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted March 17, 2014 Super User Posted March 17, 2014 Redline I love wild game, but I also had some greasy, gamy bear meat once. It was disgusting. I am told that like most things preparation is key. I would be reluctant to give it a second try. I have tried carp a couple of times over the years-same thing. In spite of loving fish, carp is not on my menu. 1 Quote

Super User K_Mac Posted March 17, 2014 Super User Posted March 17, 2014 Teal chittlins are another one of those things that once is enough. Russian folk like borscht for reasons that are not clear to me. fishguy caviar is something I would keep on hand all the time if I had Redline's money. Quote

Don't think I'll be doing that ever again. Bear jerkey isn't bad. The kind i had at least was pretty tasty. Peanut butter. Just the smell makes me heave. I'm actually gagging a little bit just thinking about it! Whoa....I'm not sure I could live without peanut butter. I love to dine and try new foods all the time. I love everything from seafood through vegetables and will try just about anything. There really isn't much I won't try but something I'll refuse is canned tuna. I tried so hard in my early 20's to eat canned tuna when I was really into working out and couldn't do it. I lasted maybe 2 days on it. Now, give me some seared Ahi Tuna steaks or yellowfin sushi rolls and I'll eat that all day. Quote
Super User Jar11591 Posted March 17, 2014 Super User Posted March 17, 2014 Tuna fish. I love all kinds of fish. Fried, grilled, broiled, baked. But something about canned tuna makes me wanna puke. It's like cat food, except I would rather eat cat food. Quote

The Rooster Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 You must be doing something wrong... Absolutely! I had Trout at my uncle's house years ago and still dream about it to this day. My worst isn't anything nasty, but it made me sick anyway. Philly Cheese Steak pizza from Domino's. Gag! Quote

Nice_Bass Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Chitlings that were not cleaned or cooked properly. agree. I love almost all foods but not cleaned proper and it was just vile. Quote
Super User Ratherbfishing Posted March 17, 2014 Super User Posted March 17, 2014 Black licorice (anise). Every once in a while a jelly bean (the non-black variety) will still taste like anise and I'll have to spit it out. My sister once used frito corn chips as a "filler" in a meatloaf recipe. It was so bad she gave it to me. It was so bad even I couldn't eat it. That's saying something. Quote
