I pretty much fish with the same stuff year round ( cranks, spinnerbaits, worms & jigs ), so it´s a lot more where will the fish be so I can be there than it is with what.

Depends on the type of lake/ river fishing, but around my area it's TN and Cumberland River oriented. So, here's my list:

1. Buzz bait

2. Poppin frog

3. Swimbait

4. 10" worm Tx rigged

5. Senko

6. Flippin bait on t- rig

7. Deep crankbait like SK 6xd

8. Carolina rigged 10" worm

9. 3/4 oz football jig

10. Big Flutter Spoon

Buzz baits, t rigged worms, waky rig senko, jigs, chatterbaits, live bait, hollow body Frogs, stanely ribbit frogs, zoom lizards, crawfish/ creature baits. I use that stuff alot along with other stuff.

I subscribe to the "fish a few lures and fish them well" perspective.  My go-to bait year-round is a spinnerbait, after that it's plastic worms and jigs.  I have historically avoided crank baits but I'm starting to learn them.

Sexy dawg or spook, white fluke, dd crankbait, floating dropshot worm is about all I fish in the summer. Nothing is more fun than throwing topwater at schooling spots on Lanier in the summer.
