I currently own a pair of the grey lenses in 580 p and want to upgrade to a glass lens. I have read that the green mirror is a good cloudy to sunny lens, and want to buy these in 400 g or 580 g. fathom frame.

If anyone has owned both , is the price difference between them worth it ?

In addition, is the "upgrade" to glass worth it?

I have a pair of 580's but they Aren't glass I had some 400 glass and sold them I didn't like the glass ... Mine r green tinted and they are awesome they r best for stained water I believe the blue is better for clear water and ocean scenarios the greens r better suited for bass fishing in my opinion

.. I've had oakleys and Wiley x costa 580 green tint is the best

I have asked a similar question on another bass fishing forum and the majority of people say 580G Green Mirror is what you want for bass fishing. Im about to order a pair of the tuna alley frames myself.

I had a pair of 580G Green Mirrors that spider cracked on the water going 60 or so.  I know I can send them back and get them covered under warranty, but I'm leery of them shattering again.  Even if that was just a defective pair....I'm nervous.

I bought a pair of Strike King in Green tint until I figure out what to do...and they are close to as good as my Costas.

Think it was more of the frames I didn't like but the 580 lens is just better than the 400 ...I'm kinda hard on stuff and I broke my glass ones

580G is the ONLY lens to buy........I repeat the ONLY lens to buy.

I have had the 580P before and it was subpar compared to the 598G I had before so I got another pair of 580G.

I have also worn the 400G ......

again, the 580G for clarity and perfection is the ONLY lens to get.

PM me and I will give you the Ebay seller I get mine from.

you can run a "costa" search here and find old threads where I posted the  "costa lens chart" to find the right color for your conditions.

I have the 580P green mirror lense for freshwater fishing. I have had them for several years now. They are great glasses. Since I wear them 365 days a year, I have had wear issues, all I do is ship them back to Costa and I get nice pair back after a couple weeks.
