Fishin' Buddy 140C Or 570 Portable?

I dont own a boat, but in the summer i go to Rice Lake and rent a boat. None of them ever have fishfinders, so i was looking at the Humminbird Fishin' Buddy 140c or the Humminbird 570 portable. I'm open to other suggestions though. Also, could either of these be used for ice fishing? Thanks.

I fish a lake in Illinois where I rent boats and they have the option of adding a fish finder, and the one they give you to use is the fishin buddy. It isn't bad or anything but its about as simple of a fish finder I've seen but in that aspect it still works great and finds fish! As for the other one I am not familiar with it, and i do not ice fish. hope the incite helps!
