Tiller Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Thinking or trying this on my jig/t-rig rod this year. Anyone have any experience with sniper? Also, what's the difference between super sniper and sniper (Japan)? I see tw has both. Joe Quote
Grantman83 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 I really don't know the difference between the two however I use regular sniper and it is awesome. Seriously, it has a very thin diameter compared to other lines of the same lb test. It is very easy to cast as well. It has some stretch and isn't as abrasion resistant as sunline shooter, but for the price it is a great line. Quote

My understanding is that the line is thinner than line from other companies simply because it breaks at its rated poundage. Most companies take 10 pound line, label it as 6 pound and brag about having the strongest 6 pound line. If a line breaks at 10#s then it really isn't 6# line is it. I would call it 10# test. Whatever happened to truth in advertising? Quote
