Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted February 3, 2011 Global Moderator Posted February 3, 2011 Anyone tried one of these baits yet? I got one the other day because it's a great looking bait and some of the lakes around here don't have shad so the fish eat a lot of bluegills so thinking it's worth a shot. Quote
Ima Bass Ninja Posted February 3, 2011 Posted February 3, 2011 I have the bluegill one and it has worked pretty good for me (especially on bedding bass).I think its a decent hard swim bait but there are certainly better one's out there. Quote
Super User Wayne P. Posted February 3, 2011 Super User Posted February 3, 2011 I bought one specifically for bed fishing. I don't cast it, I use it flipping/pitching. Quote
lightsout Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Ive put one through it paces and honestly dont think I'll ever use it again...Didnt care for the action at all. Quote
Primus Posted February 4, 2011 Posted February 4, 2011 Get a 5" Tru Tungsten (better bait) or if you are willing to save up a little extra money get a Matt lures Hardgill (much better bait). Quote
Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted February 5, 2011 Author Global Moderator Posted February 5, 2011 Is that hardgill the one I've seen on TW for 54.99? That sucker better catch fish to spend that kind of money on it. My main concern is one of the lakes I really want to throw it in has a few pike in it. I already have nightmares about fishing LC pointers in there. Quote
