LOL ~  The Orangutan Hang, that is the Term of the year so far for me . . . . .

I've never done one - kind tough in the Old Town, but I have escaped into the woods to do

The Sasquatch Squat one or twice . . .

Since we're going there...

I had the bubble gut right as I got to the lake one morning from a combination of McD's and coffee. I was very disappointed to find the bathrooms padlocked (offseason time). Of course I'm prepared so I grab my coffee can out of the boat that has my emergency paper and make a hasty retreat to the nearest secluded trees. Stumbled around in the dark and managed to find a good laid over tree and right as I got myself into position a couple big does burst out of their hiding places not 10' from me and went crashing and snorting through the trees. It's a good thing I had already assumed the position, probably would have made a mess of myself otherwise.

Back to the OP's question, I drink at least one cup of coffee every night around midnight and I always drink a big thermos of coffee on the way to the lake. Ideally, it does it's job on the way to the lake so I don't have a repeat of Bambi's Revenge.

Black coffee for me as well. During the week I make the cheap stuff at home before i leave for work, and then drink the teacher's lounge coffee all day once I get to school. On weekends i treat myself with something a little nicer, grind my own beans and make it in the french press.

Have I got a drink for you then!

Brew a pot of coffee. Pick your favorite type. After the coffee is brewed. Poor said coffee into the reservoir. Leave the filter and grounds. Brew a second time. Stuff is strong is all get out and about triple caffeinated. Using a new filter and grounds when rebrewing will make your hands shake.

Did this for about a week i got the wrong coffee and didnt have time to return. I sware there was something wrong with me.

I drink it anyway as long as it's hot. Coffee is essential to life.

Hot black and nasty for me!

On a side note I'm going to need to mount a cup holder in the bow of the triton for the early morning trips...

To taste, but make sure you get real maple syrup, not the supermarket garbage thats corn syrup with flavorings.

Raider I've tried re-brewing coffee in the past. It gives it a slightly scorched taste that offends my sensitive palate. I should ask in the Ask Raider column, but I will ask here: Why is that?

Dear A delicate flower,

The coffee super heats and thusly gets a wee bit burnt.

Cream and sugar.  The coffee makers starts about 4:30 every morning and has for the last several decades.
