If it wasnt blown up,and i am doubting it now since the engines transmited for 4 hours after the transponder was turned off.

 

we had 2 on there with stolen passports whats their involvement in this.think about it would not be the first time planes were used as a device of terror.not war terror.what better way to deliver another terroist attack.It has a lot of fuel left even if it did fly for more than 4 yours after than transponder was shut off..i have for years feared a dirty bomb.not a nuke in the way most think of it but plutonium spread by the explosion of a regular bomb high enough could make a place barren for tens of thousands of years and has the pontenial to killed millions.

 

in a sad way i hope they find it crashed. everyday it stays missing i grow more concerned.also what would OUR response be..? People would want someone to pay.the people who do this awful stuff really dont have a base we can bomb,or a country we can invade so how would our leader ship deal with the outcry,the demand for penance..we would react and we might be wrong and if we are then the Iraq and Afghanistan conflicts will be the good ol' days.

Im surprised this thread didnt show up sooner. The first thing i thought of was lost as well. I really have no idea wear it could be. Does seem suspicious with the 2 stolen passports although they claim this is quite a common occurrence in Malaysia. I think the scary idea is what if we never find it.

I do believe that we arent being told everything.just read that the cell phones of several passengers rang for hours after it went missing.if they crashed and all the phones were destroyed they wouldnt ring,well according to the people that did the news reports..

One of two things happened:

 

1. It landed somewhere and "they" have managed to keep it super secret from the rest of the world.  This is extremely unlikely, but conspiracy theorists and gossip mongers love this kind of stuff. They just eat it up and won't let go until proven otherwise.  So, the rest of us sane folks get to hear that nonsense-babble until they find the wreckage from...

 

2.  It crashed somewhere.

 

I'm going with #2.

 

Can't wait until they find it so the speculating, rumors, and gossiping can stop.  I hate that crap.

5 seconds of gravitational lapse and it flew right past the satellites and into outer space. It is the only way we possibly could have lost contact with that many tracking devices. Now we know how life on other planets is created!!!

Glenn dont be a grouch,to speculate about something like this is natural.The pieces of the puzzle dont fit together.NOW is it more likely than not it came apart over the ocean and the sheer size of the search area is making it tough to find it,yea.

Im with Glenn on this one. That plane is down somewhere, in pieces. Three quarters of our planet is water and that plane, as big as it was, is just a drop in a big, big bucket. All the talking heads on TV do is contradict one another because all of the information they are getting is from sources who are as clueless as anyone else.

Something similar happened to an air France flight in South America some years back. They found that planes wreckage... After a couple years.

I just read a breaking news report that said the plane was struck by a ladle shot from a cannon. The location the shot came from has been confirmed as a small chinese take out place in downtown Alabama.

I think aliens is a far more plausible theory than "they" have it parked somewhere. I'm with Glenn, people love a good conspiracy theory and sometimes the truth is just too simple and not nearly as exciting or scary. People believe what they want to believe-I believe it crashed into the ocean.

 

Edit : Stlbob a dirty bomb is a very scary thing, but it is not a weapon of mass destruction. It would have long-term and deadly consequences, yet its biggest threat according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission is as a weapon of mass disruption, making it useful as a weapon of terror. Of course they could be concealing the truth...

update;

taking the tin foil hat off...they have confirmed that yes for several hours after transponder was turned off data WAS transmitted by the engines..and yes several cell calls were made and phones on the other end rang.So ' THEY ' are up to something.

Is it possible that the transponder lost power, no one on board was aware for some time, or maybe they were but were unable to fix it, and then whatever caused it to fail became a bigger problem which downed the plane?
