Mainebass1984 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I was just looking through the Maine tournament list. Is anyone on here planning on doing any ? Quote
Smokinal Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Yup, doing Three Mile in July. Used to be in a club and did many opens but they take up so much time I quit the club and have just been pleasure fishing. But the competitive side of me is rearing it's head so I'm in need of a tourney or 2...or 3...or Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 I am not sure how many I will be doing but I plan on doing quite a few. Thinking about doing the big northen bass supply open on Sebago in the September again. I am debating whether or not to join a club in Maine. I like doing opens on Moose, Kezar, Mousam, Sebago, Lovewell and, few other ones. Quote
Bassintheweeds Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 If you need a club hit me up Maine bass. I will end up doing a few so far im set on Damariscotta in April. Other than that Im not sure yet. Just whatever works i guess. looking at the schedule some im looking at are: Sabbatus on 6/18 Little sebago 8/17 Tacoma night bite 8/15 maybe the northern bass supply on sebago. Quote
Smokinal Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 ^^^ is that Sabattus a USA Bassin tourney? I've done a few of those there. Quote
Bassintheweeds Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 I don't believe so. I will also be fishing those. Anyone who looks at this thread look for a ranger hat, costas, and a buff it's most likely me. Say hey if you want, in either a white ranger w/ Portland yacht services on the side. That or a white and yellow stratos Quote
dag623 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Did Sebago with NBS last yr, possibly this yr... Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted March 13, 2014 Author Posted March 13, 2014 Did Sebago with NBS last yr, possibly this yr... Cool. How did you do ? Quote
dag623 Posted March 13, 2014 Posted March 13, 2014 Cool. How did you do ? Struggled. First time to Sebago for us, no time to pre fish, and the pressure on the lake was insane. Had 60 boats in our tourney, plus the Northeast Regional for the Federation Nation series guys out there pre fishing for their tournament, and the pleasure boaters getting in their last hoorahs for the season. We still had a great time though, as it was a weekend away for the wife and I. The resort was great, food was great, and the experience was great. Now if we could just catch more fish next time :-P Quote
Bassintheweeds Posted March 14, 2014 Posted March 14, 2014 Sebago had a ton of pressure the last two years hopefully people will start to let off. I love an unpressured sebago. 1 Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted March 14, 2014 Author Posted March 14, 2014 Sebago can be great fishing if it is spring or summer. The fishing gets real tough in September when they have the 2 day tourney. A 7lber is usually weighed in during the two day tourneys. Generally though if you on a 2.5 lb pattern in September your doing pretty good. 2 Quote
MainelyBASS Posted March 15, 2014 Posted March 15, 2014 What town do you live in Mainebass? Our club fishes all local lakes (moose in bridgton, Kezar, little Sebago, arrowhead, pleasant lake in Casco, big Sebago) our tournament entry fees are very low and we have tons of fun. Quote
Mainebass1984 Posted March 15, 2014 Author Posted March 15, 2014 What's the name of your club ? Quote
