A possible world record spotted bass weighing in at 10.48 lbs was recently weighed in at a pro/am tourney in California. Caught on a wacky rigged senko.

BEAUTIFUL Spotted Bass but I gotta go with Wbeadle on this one....looking like an 8 to me.  But on the flip side, pictures can be deceiving.  And on a wacky rigged senko!  That is what's up!  I'm assuming he was using light line.  I'm sure that was an unreal battle.

Pictures can be deceiving.  If the fish was weighed, I can believe the picture.  On another thread, 00mod had a guess the weight of a fish in one of his pictures.  The fish IMO looked over 10 pounds.  It wound up being 7-15.  Just my 2 cents.

he let the fish go which is awesome....... but do they not do DNA testing/ scale testing on spots to certify?

Wow, what a beautiful fish!

I wonder if it will actually be a record?  From what I have heard the only way to really get a fish registered it ends up dying.  Awesome that he let it go, sad if it can't be registered as a record becuase it was let go.
