Need Bass fishin partner for fun fishin, maybe tourneys as well.

Hi guys ,

I recently aquired a 16'  alum. Bass boat and need a partner cuz I'm tired of fishin alone. I live 1 hour north of Orlando and have been fishin the Harris chain and the St. John's only because they're the closest to me.  I can meet you at whatever lake you wanna fish within say 2 hr drive.

I am retired and can go anytime.  I am a former Ohio B.A.S.S. tourney fisherman so pretty much know what I am doing.

Nice!! .... what body of water are you finding success in, Canals or Residential lakes?

I fish in a residential lake right across from my house. It is in the Coral Springs and Tamarac area.

Hey guys live in N Broward usually just fish my local canal behind my apt complex. So far this is my pb. 5.8 lbs. Surprised the heck out of me. Caught on Christmas Day throwing a tr zoom trick worm but I don't remember the color. I belive it had blue in it a color that usually doesn't catch fish in my local canals. Mainly watermelon seed and watermelon with red flake catch the most fish.

PS. This has to be the ugliest bass I have ever seen!!! It almost looked fake to me.

Just wanted to add the PS at the bottom.

I just moved to Northern Manatee county and am looking for ponds to bass fish.  Anyone know of any?

Manatee Lake in the state park.  Not a pond but its under fished by people and can have an awesome topwater bite at times.

Moving to JAX in 2 days, fishing from bank, coming from VA.

Would like to locate some ponds where there are trophy fish for catch/release.

Will be living 4090 Hodges Blvd 32224 - is there anyone out there who knows the local scene of ponds/retention ponds....don't want to spend 5 years figuring it out.  Will be absolutely silent on whatever you show me, just want to catch some big ones to keep my mental hygiene going.  Love the big bass fishing.

It all starts with trophy bass water, you can't catch Toads in a garbage can.

NORTH CENTRAL FLORIDA

Hey guys! I am a bass enthusiast in Gainesville, FL. I have fished the hell out of the lakes near me to no avail. Spent entire days on the water with no bites, caught a handful of bream and catfish. Was just wondering if this is a North Central Florida thing or if I am doing something wrong? Have tried everything: flipping creatures, jigs, shallow crank baits, texas rigs, even live bait. Any advice for places to fish in the area would be great! Thanks a bunch!

Ya I used to think I was a pretty decent fisherman until I moved to Gainesville. My advice is swimming zoom speed worms, seems to work pretty well around here. Where all have you tried?

Hey man I am a little south of you in Ocklawaha. I just started using a ned rig and am impressed. Catching way more fish than anything else I have tried locally. Mostly real small but a couple 2-3lb. Using green pumpkin and coppertreuse zman trd with the 1/10oz shroomz jighead.

Went to the Alley Sunday morning.  The water is dropping and if it continues the fish in the flats will head for deeper water in the canals.  Then the fishing will get crazy out there.  If mother nature cooperates, 100 fish days will be the norm again.

I have fished Lake Osbourne several times from the Prince Park Ramps.  I was targeting Peacock but this was before the big freeze.

Hey Ya'll. Im heading down to Sanibel Island this weekend. Any freshwater spots nearby I can take the little brother and Pops to?

got some spots in Jacksonville that you will catch quantity and quality. All east of 295. Also just stumbled on a dirt road that takes you to a pond that is stacked with fish. If anyone wants to fish just get at me. Just moved here about 2 years ago

Yes they are fire, also the ponds by the small airport on lantana have some lunkers in them

Fished Alligator Alley this AM. Started at 7 and tried every bait and technique in our bags of tricks -- only 2 dinks. Quit after 11 am.
Maybe it was the full moon, or too much current, or the recent rain, or us. Who knows.
