My 5 year old gave me strep. After sitting at home yesterday. I was excited to go back to work today. Pshhhh. Work won't let me back til I've been on an antibiotic for 24hrs. Since I aint get my meds until 1500 yesterday. I'm not allowed back today. Not only is this affecting my wallet. I'm bored out of my skull!

Now that my wife and son have returned home. He was running a fever and got sent home from school. I am now even more bored. He's moping around and she is napping. (Five and a half month pregnant wives are tired a lot.)

I understand why they want you on antibiotics for 24 hrs before returning to work..............but I don't think antibiotics are gonna fix you.

And good heavens I hope you dont catch what your wife has! :eyebrows:

Hope you all start feeling better soon...........being sick does bite.

I hope I don't either. I somehow don't see that working to well for me.

Your right its gonna take more than antibiotics to fix me.

Dude.  Getting sick sucks.  This has been the worst year ever for my wife and I with the crazy flu we had.  Now we're both catching a cold.

Last weekend the whole family got sick. My wife knew something was wrong when I came home from coyote hunting after just 45minutes. I got sick 5 minutes into the first stand with a coyote working into shot gun range I started spewing exorcist style all over.

Got home puked some more and peed out my rear end I could of pooped threw a screen and not touched a wire lol. Hour later wife same thing hour after that my two year old pukes all over me to wake me up. I shot my mother a text joking she poisoned the cookies she sent me and she replied that's oldest boy Noah was up puking as well.

That hit the whole family in one night with the exception of the baby she never got sick. We thought it might have been food poisoning but the 4 of us never ate the same thing or from the same place for a while before this. All week it's been wiping out my inlaws and co workers.

I have hardly been sick ever since I started getting regular flu shots.

I haven't even had a cold in 2 years but on Friday I started feeling kind of yuck and it turned into the mother of all colds less than 2 hrs after I got home from work.

I was sick fri-night, sat, sun and stayed home from work Monday.

I stayed home and worked from home today just to try to keep my co-workers from getting it.

Worst part was that I missed the birth of our newest grandson.

You can ask my mother I have never been sick a day in my life till I started getting a flu shot now I seem to always be sick. Once I start feeling better and not sick for a while the army gives me another flu shot and we can't say no to it.
