Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted March 10, 2014 Super User Posted March 10, 2014 Since when did fishermen become obsessed with gimmicky gadgets? Freaking braided line cutters?!? Did I miss something while dwelling down here in the basement forums? Are people really shelling out money for a special tool to cut braided fishing line? Holy dang have I got a deal for all of y'all. Ol Raider, is selling braid rocks. Its the newest and greatest line cutter ever produced. Guaranteed to cut any line braided or otherwise. Just stick your line of choice on the included flat rock and bang the top of it with the included sharpened flint rock. Simple as that. So easy a caveman did it. Why pay upwards of 25 dollars from some gimmicky man made cutter. These cutters are all natural and environmentally friendly. Only 16.95, but act now and I will also include a special gift. A container of organic worms raised in organic dirt. Why trust a regular worm when you can use Farmer Raiders Organic Worms. Just pay separate processing. Order takers are standing by. Quote
tipptruck1 Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Well if you don't get the presidents seat. We all know you could be the next Billy Mays. I do agree with you though. I have a mini blow touch lighter. It worked well for lighting big fat cigars. Since it is wind proof i decided to start using it for braid. For me it works really great. 1 Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted March 10, 2014 Super User Posted March 10, 2014 do you grow the rocks in between your ears? 1 Quote
Super User Raider Nation Fisher Posted March 10, 2014 Author Super User Posted March 10, 2014 do you grow the rocks in between your ears? Naw, I import them from my motor head workforce out of New Hampshire. I think some of them chew on them though. So they must be sanitized before being handled and packaged. Why waste the resources of my beautiful part of the country. When I can waste the resources of the frozen north? Quote

I would rather fall down every set of stairs, slam my hand in every door, stump my toe on every tree root I encounter, and step on broken glass then buy just one of those braid cutters. Quote

FlipnLimits Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Born in the 10th month of 1983. Then surely there's hope. If it was the 10th month of 93, you'd have technique-specific rods to go with the fancy cutters. Speaking of, tried my 1st ever tech specific rod today, around the yard, seems to have a fair action, I'll admit. 1 Quote
tipptruck1 Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Heck raider I have a idea. Your boy the pipe fitter want's to be a engineer. He can "draw" up some thing. Send the print to me. I tell him it wont work. 20 revisions later. I can finally make the parts. Then you can buy late night tv spots. Put on a polo and khakis. Then you can sell them for the low price of 19.99 plus s&h. That way you can raise funds for your presidential race. 1 Quote
FlipnLimits Posted March 11, 2014 Posted March 11, 2014 Raider That was a compliment I hope it was received that way. FL 1 Quote

Super User Fishing Rhino Posted March 11, 2014 Super User Posted March 11, 2014 Braid cutters? I thought everyone knew the best braid cutter is the cutter that comes on a dental floss dispenser. It cuts braid just as easy and clean as it does floss. 1 Quote
Super User flyfisher Posted March 11, 2014 Super User Posted March 11, 2014 I am not sure but this thread should be removed unless of course you are now a sponsor of the board... Quote
Super User Long Mike Posted March 11, 2014 Super User Posted March 11, 2014 I use dental floss instead of braid. It's a lot cheaper, but you can't toss it very far. 1 Quote

Super User Redlinerobert Posted March 11, 2014 Super User Posted March 11, 2014 I admit. I have a pair of $300 Abel fishing pliers that I use to cut braid with. They come with a cool leather holster. I've had them for almost 20 years! had to replace the blades once! Quote
